Garnishment Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Garnishment Specialist based in the United States. This is a fully remote opportunity focused on ensuring employees’ wage garnishments are processed accurately, compliantly, and on time. You will manage garnishment orders from setup through processing while ensuring payroll systems reflect applicable legal requirements. The role combines payroll knowledge, regulatory research, analytical problem-solving, and customer service. You will investigate processing issues, maintain garnishment rules, and help ensure automated workflows operate effectively. The position involves collaboration with courts, agencies, employees, legal contacts, and internal teams. You will work in a deadline-driven environment where accuracy, organization, discretion, and attention to detail are essential.
