This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Pessoa Desenvolvedora Backend Python Especialista I (Plataforma e Serviços) based in Brazil. This is a senior backend engineering opportunity focused on modernizing critical platforms and building scalable, resilient services. You will help transform a legacy monolithic architecture into a modern ecosystem of Python-based microservices. The role sits at the intersection of backend engineering, cloud architecture, event-driven systems, and technical governance. You will work on high-impact initiatives involving AWS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, REST APIs, observability, and asynchronous integrations. AI-powered development tools are an integral part of the engineering workflow, enabling faster delivery and continuous improvement. You will also act as a technical reference, influencing architectural decisions and collaborating independently across teams and squads.
