AI-First Senior Software Engineer We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer – AI-First Development who is passionate about building modern, scalable software while leveraging Artificial Intelligence, including tools like TensorFlow and PyTorch, to dramatically improve engineering productivity. This role emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning in a flexible work environment. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who embraces AI-first software development, automates repetitive engineering tasks, and takes end-to-end ownership of the services they build. The ideal candidate is an expert in Java, Python, Azure, Azure Databricks, Microservices, and modern SDLC practices, with proven experience delivering cloud-native enterprise applications. Beyond technical expertise, we are looking for an engineer who actively uses AI to accelerate software delivery, improve code quality, automate engineering workflows, and increase developer productivity. Collaboration Work closely with architects, product owners, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders. Collaborate effectively with onsite and offshore engineering teams. Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, sprint planning, and technical design sessions. Mentor junior and mid-level engineers while promoting engineering excellence and AI adoption. Candidates should demonstrate practical, day-to-day use of AI to improve software engineering productivity. Required Qualifications Solid experience in software development. Strong expertise in Java and Python . Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure. Strong experience with Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake. Proven experience designing and developing enterprise-grade microservices and REST APIs. Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps practices. Experience with Git, automated testing frameworks, and Agile software development. Messaging (Kafka / Azure Event Hub / Azure Service Bus). Experience in AI projects , including machine learning, natural language processing, or computer vision is a plus. Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Advanced/fluent English communication skills. Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
