Experienced Electrical Technical Field Advisor

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Experienced Electrical Technical Field Advisor based in the United States. This is a field-based technical leadership opportunity supporting the installation, commissioning, operation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems for gas and steam turbine equipment. You will serve as a technical authority during power generation projects, outages, and commissioning activities. The role combines hands-on electrical expertise with planning, problem-solving, documentation, and coordination of field resources. You’ll work closely with customers, plant owners, construction teams, and internal stakeholders to keep complex assignments on track. The position requires strong knowledge of excitation systems, turbine controls, generators, digital and analog controls, and associated software. Frequent travel, including offshore assignments, is an integral part of the role, with flexibility required for weekends, holidays, and overtime.
