This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Corporate Development based in Canada. This is a senior leadership opportunity to own and accelerate a high-impact M&A strategy within a global consumer and prosumer software business. You will lead the full acquisition lifecycle, from identifying attractive targets and developing investment theses to negotiating transactions and driving them through close. Working directly with executive leadership and investment partners, you will have significant influence over portfolio strategy and long-term growth. The role combines sophisticated financial analysis with commercial judgment, relationship building, and hands-on transaction execution. You’ll operate across the US, Canada, and Europe, developing relationships with founders, bankers, advisors, and technology businesses. The environment is lean, entrepreneurial, and fast-moving, with multiple opportunities and transactions progressing simultaneously. This position is well suited to an accomplished M&A professional who can operate with executive presence while remaining highly hands-on.
