The Days Inn Warman is looking to fill our Full Time Maintenance Position. This position is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our 74 room hotel and pool facility. This position reports to the General Manager & the Housekeeping Supervisors. Duties include, but are not limited to:Performing general grounds including shoveling snow and spring/summer grounds keepingMaintaining pool cleanliness and performing pool tests and filter maintenanceRepairing items such as toilets and small drywall patchingPerforming routine maintenance such as changing out light bulbs, steam cleaning carpetsReplacing fixtures such as sink taps or thermostatsReplacing filters and checking on major equipment like hot water heatersCharacteristic and Ability RequirementsAbility to efficiently work under time constraintsPossesses good organizational and prioritization skillsAble to work independently and with othersAbility to work independentlyPossesses the physical ability to perform all of the job duties within a defined period of time Technical RequirementsMust have working knowledge of plumbing, painting, HVAC, electrical, and other general repair skillsCompetenciesCustomer FocusTeamworkProblem Solving & Decision-MakingProfessionalismDependability & ReliabilityPhysical RequirementsThis position requires an extensive level of physical exertion; frequent walking, bending, climbing, kneeling, extending reach, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying of up to 50+ pounds to complete assigned tasks.
