Job Summary Location: Guardian West Bedford Pharmacy ? We are looking for friendly, knowledgeable, and professional individuals to join us in making the health needs of our patients their top priority. Here?s where you?ll have an impact: Demonstrate warmth, empathy, and compassion while acting in the patient?s best interest to achieve excellence in patient-centered care, customer service, workflow efficiencies, and professional clinical services (e.g., disease state management, medication reviews, adherence, health risk assessments, injections/vaccines). Provide patient counseling and education for new therapies to patients and caregivers, tailoring the approach to their specific needs and concerns (e.g., literacy, hearing loss, privacy). Initiate care plans, follow up, and complete proper documentation in accordance with Nova Scotia Pharmacy Regulator (NSPR) standards. Participate in clinical health programs and collaborate with healthcare colleagues to provide excellence in health and wellness services. Ensure prescription safety by prioritizing technical functions and delegating tasks to Pharmacy Technicians and Assistants as required. Maintain current knowledge of pharmacy practice, regulatory requirements, and industry trends/developments. Adhere to all regulatory requirements, workplace policies, safety standards, and continuous quality improvement processes. What you bring to the table: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (or PharmD) from a recognized institution. Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the Nova Scotia Pharmacy Regulator (NSPR). Valid Injection and First Aid / CPR Certification. Strong communication, clinical judgment, and interpersonal skills. What We Offer: A supportive, community-focused work culture.
