This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. *Duties* * Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience * Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and processing * Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation * Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities * Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities * Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with sanitation standards * Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth service flow * Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction *Experience* * Previous food service experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred * Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order processing and cashiering * Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods * Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards to uphold health regulations * Experience in hospitality or guest services roles that demonstrate excellent communication skills * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing bills * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with kitchen staff and fellow servers This role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about delivering outstanding customer service in a vibrant restaurant setting.
