*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The Cleaner will be responsible for upholding high standards of cleanliness in commercial spaces, contributing to the overall success of our operations. *Responsibilities* * Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. * Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. * Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies. * Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently. * Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. * Report any damages or necessary repairs to the appropriate personnel. * Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. * Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning tasks or post-event cleanups. *Qualifications:* * Previous cleaning experience preferred but not required. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. * Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. * Good physical stamina and ability to handle repetitive tasks. * Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy. * Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures is a plus. * *Must be able to work evening hours 3-5 days a week and weekends if necessary*. * *Must have valid Class G Driver's License to drive company vehicle* * Must provide a complete and current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour Application question(s): * Do you reside in the Durham Region?
