Livestock assistant with experience in agricultural machinery Duties and Responsibilities General Farm Duties (80% of the Time) Assist with all aspects of crop farming operations. Operate tractors, loaders, sprayers, combines, and other agricultural equipment safely and efficiently. Perform seeding, planting, cultivating, harvesting, and post-harvest activities. Load, unload, and transport crops, seed, fertilizer, and farm supplies. Maintain and repair fences, farm buildings, yards, and roads. Perform general farm maintenance and housekeeping. Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical issues. Complete farm records and use basic computer systems as required. Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment. Perform other farm-related duties as assigned. Commercial Truck Driving Duties (20% of the Time) Operate commercial trucks to transport grain, crops, fertilizer, farm supplies, and equipment. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Ensure loads are properly secured and transported safely. Follow all transportation regulations and company safety policies. Maintain vehicle logs and transportation records. Travel between farm locations, suppliers, and delivery points as needed. Salary: $ 18.34 CAD - $25 CAD per hour - Depends on the experience Housing: Provided by employer, rural area Vacancies: 3 Relocation and transportation: Provided by employer Work Experience: 2 year's previous experience in preventive maintenance, machine adjustments and harvesting procedures is preferred. Minimum 1 year of farm experience required.
