*About us* At *Smile Well Dental*, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a welcoming, and team-oriented environment. Our clinic offers a full range of dental services including preventive care, restorative treatments, cosmetic dentistry, and surgical procedures. We pride ourselves on fostering long-term patient relationships and supporting continuous learning for our staff. We are currently looking for a *Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)* who is passionate about patient care and thrives in a collaborative setting. This role requires a strong understanding of clinical procedures, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to provide a positive patient experience from start to finish. *Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties* * Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures * Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures (fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals, etc.) * Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment * Take dental radiographs and ensure proper safety protocols are followed * Maintain accurate patient records and charting * Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols * Accurately record clinical notes and treatment details * Manage appointment flow and assist with scheduling when needed * Process lab cases and track incoming/outgoing work *Patient Care* * Greet and prepare patients, ensuring comfort and understanding of procedures * Provide pre- and post-operative instructions * Address patient concerns and contribute to a positive, supportive experience *Qualifications* * Certified Dental Assistant * Valid CPR and First Aid certification * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Proficiency with dental softwares such as Open Dental * Ability to work well in a team environment *Preferred Skills* * Experience with digital X-rays and electronic charting * Multilingual abilities (considered an asset) * Previous experience in a general or specialty dental practice working hours : 16-32 Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $29.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Flexible schedule Work Location: In person Location North Vancouver , BC Work location On site Salary $ 29.00 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10236641358 Various locations North Vancouver, BC
