Job Description Job Description The Opportunity Aid in coating and polishing operations by performing surface preparation, material handling, equipment maintenance, site clean-up, and assisting skilled workers in completing projects safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards. What You'll Be Responsible For : Production Support ? Assist with coating and polishing operations. ? Prepare surfaces through cleaning, masking, grinding, sanding, and blasting as required. ? Move materials, equipment, and supplies throughout the shop and job sites. ? Load and unload vehicles and deliveries. ? Assist supervisors with project setup and teardown. Equipment & Maintenance ? Operate hand tools and power tools safely. ? Clean and maintain equipment after use. ? Report equipment defects or maintenance concerns. Quality Control ? Follow work instructions and specifications. ? Inspect work areas for cleanliness and readiness. ? Identify defects or quality concerns and report them promptly. Safety ? Follow all company safety policies and procedures. ? Participate in daily FLHAs and safety meetings. ? Wear required PPE at all times. ? Report hazards, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions immediately. ? Maintain a clean and organized work environment. General Duties ? Maintain professional conduct with customers and coworkers. ? Assist in training new employees when requested. ? Perform other duties as assigned. Key Competencies ? Reliability ? Teamwork ? Experience in concrete coatings or polishing ideal ? Able to lift up to 50 lbs ? Able to work in varying conditions ? Willing to work over 8 hours a day if the project timeline requires ?
