Job Description Job Description About Us This is a hands-on role with a mix of in-shop and field work across the Tri-Cities and GTA. JDM Air Power Services is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Millwright / Field Service Technician to join our team in Cambridge. If you enjoy hands-on mechanical work, problem-solving, and working on specialized rotating equipment rather than repetitive production maintenance, this role offers a great mix of shop and field service work across the Tri-Cities and GTA. What You'll Do Troubleshooting and repairing industrial fans, blowers, electric motors, and rotating equipment Preventative maintenance and inspections Laser alignments and vibration analysis Dynamic balancing Field service and in-shop mechanical repairs Working independently and alongside an experienced service team What We're Looking For Previous experience as a millwright Proven ability with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding Strong background in machine assembly, fabrication, and rigging, along with solid knowledge of troubleshooting Skilled in operating a wide range of general shop equipment Ability to interpret and work from detailed specifications Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability Confident computer skills suitable for modern maintenance and documentation needs Experience with rotating equipment or air handling systems is a strong asset although not required as training will be provided Clear and professional written and verbal communication Commitment to safe work practices 433A Millwright Licensed Why Work With Us $38-$43/hour based on experience Overtime + premium pay opportunities Dental and vision benefits Life insurance RRSP matching Paid time off Paid travel time Boot/Tool Allowance Take-home company service truck provided for commuting to and from sites Stable, year-round work In-house technical training Company Lunches Opportunity for advancement Mix of local field work and shop work Apply today and build your career with JDM Air Power Services.
