This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys taking complex products from concept through deployment and is comfortable working across mechanical, electrical, and embedded systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, integration, and testing of advanced laboratory automation equipment. Our products are typically low-to-medium volume, high-value scientific instruments that integrate precision mechanics, electronics, sensing, fluid handling, robotics, and embedded control systems. While the role spans multiple engineering disciplines, there is a particular emphasis on electronics design, PCB development, and embedded firmware development. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully.
