We are URGENTLY seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Optometric Assistant to join our team. As an Optometric Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our optometrists and ensuring a smooth patient experience. Your responsibilities will include: * Greeting patients and preparing them for their appointments * Conducting preliminary tests and gathering patient history * Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records * Maintaining cleanliness and organization * Answering incoming phone calls * Sending & receiving referrals from specialists offices * Identifying and assessing customers? needs * Assist with taking payments, billing to extended health companies *We are in search of a Candidate with the following traits/experience:* * Have a passion to provide exceptional customer service and customer experience * Having experience in and knowledge of the Optometry Industry is an asset * Committed to being a part of a high performing team * Wanting to grow with our company, we are looking for a long term candidate * Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment * Computer knowledge is a must as we are a paperless clinic * Some experience with assisting patients with glasses selection is an asset *We are looking for a candidate who is flexible with their schedule as shifts can vary from Mondays through Saturdays.
