*MedX Drugs Pharmacy is currently hiring Staff Pharmacist to join our Team! * Full time or Part-time (fixed days of the week) *Must practice at full scope, providing professional services, provide best patient care and to assist maintaining pharmacy operations.* Duties and Responsibilities: Acknowledge all customers approaching the Pharmacy, offer assistance promptly and in a courteous and professional manner Practice within federal/provincial, regulatory/legal requirements, provincial Code of Ethics, Standards of \* Practice, and Policies, demonstrating professional integrity and acting to uphold a high level of professional standard of practice Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including customer confidentiality and consent management Provide counselling on prescriptions, over the counter/behind the counter products and all health related issues, including but not limited to indications, contra-indications, adverse effects, drug interactions and dosage Practice to full extent of expanded scope with Professional Services, within your capability Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions dispensed Communicate with other health care professionals within the circle of care to provide optimal customer care Maintain all records required in accordance with legislation, standards of practice, and policy, i.e. customer records, narcotic and controlled drug records Promote health and wellness and educate customers and as appropriate, engage with customers both in and outside the store through community events, clinics etc. Provide timely and positive resolutions to customer needs and requests from other healthcare providers Promote Pharmacy campaigns, programs and professional services as appropriate *Education and professional Licensing: *Registered with ACP in good standing *Experiences, skills and Qualifications:* * Ability to build and develop strong professional relations with clients * Authorized to administer injection * Prescribing authority is an asset * Experience in ODP guidelines and collaborations with other Health Professionals * Independent thinking and decision making - makes decisions when dealing with issues or problems * Compounding skills or experience is an asset. *Flexible schedule, can add more hours at multiple locations* * Flex hours: 16-44 hours/week Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Permanent Salary: $50.00-$60.00 per hour Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour Benefits: * Extended health care * Store discount Work Location: In person Location Edmonton , AB Work location On site Salary $ 60.00 to $ 65.00 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Casual employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10236573992 Various locations Edmonton, AB
