*Job Overview* At Chief Dental, we?re building a fun, supportive, and caring team that prioritizes exceptional patient care while ensuring we take care of ourselves, too. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. *Duties* * Host the patient from when they walk in the door to as they check out after their time with us. * Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring that the patient is comfortable and informed throughout the process. * Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment to maintain a clean and safe working environment. * Take dental radiographs (X-rays) * Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, using Tracker dental software. * Support pediatric patients with care tailored to their needs, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for children. * Be willing to learn as our team continually upgrades and adds new services and procedures. *Qualifications* * Current BC Certified Dental Assistant license, new grads or soon to be new grads welcome to apply * Familiarity with CEREC software is a plus for those involved in restorative dentistry. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with health regulations. * Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff alike.
