*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of human capital management and will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions. This position requires expertise in employment and labour law, talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll and benefits administration. The Human Resources Generalist will contribute to strategic planning and organizational design for our workforce while fostering a positive work environment and ensuring alignment with company goals and legal standards. *Responsibilities* * Manage the full cycle of talent acquisition, including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees. * Preparing and processing payroll, managing employee data, and ensuring compliance with wage and hour laws. * Administer employee orientation programs to ensure smooth integration into the company culture. * Oversee performance management processes, including employee evaluations and feedback mechanisms. * Facilitate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth. * Ensure compliance with CLC, OSHA, affirmative action planning, and other employment regulations. * Handle employee relations matters by addressing concerns and resolving conflicts effectively. * Maintain HRIS systems (such as ADP, Payworks, Paychex, Workday) for accurate data entry and reporting. * Work with the Joint Health & Safety Committee. * Process WSIB claims. * Collaborate with management on change management strategies and workforce planning. * Support benefits administration processes, including enrollment, inquiries, and claims management. * Conduct data collection for HR metrics to inform strategic decision-making. *Qualifications* * Bachelor?s degree in Human Resources Management or 5 years of related field experience preferred. * Proven experience in human resources role within a Manufacturing Industry with knowledge of HR practices, including talent management, payroll, employee relations. * Familiarity with employment & labour law, project management, performance management, and conflict management. * Proficiency in HR software such as ADP Workforce Now preferred or similar systems. * Experience with payroll systems, including ADP, QuickBooks, or Payworks. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels. * Experience with ATS platforms. * Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. * Administrative experience in an HR setting is highly desirable.
