*Company description* Victoria Classic Lingerie is an independant, locally owned, lingerie store serving the central Victoria area for close to 30 years. We pride ourselves in providing exceptional, personal service in a welcoming and comfortable environment. We specialize in expert bra fittings, everyday essentials, inclusive sizing and helping our customers find lingerie that makes them feel comfortable, confident and beautiful. Our clientelle is wonderflully diverse and we believe everyone deserves to feel welcome and respected when shopping for their lingerie. We are looking for a friendly, confident and experienced sales and bra fitting specialist to join our small and knowledable team. *Looking for a little work, not a full-time job?* This postion may be a great fit for someone who is retired or semi-retired, or simply looking for a small number of shifts to start. We're initially looking for someone who can help with occassional fill-in shifts, with the potential for more regular shifts in the future. *Your responsibilities will include:* Providing professional and personalized bra fittings Helping customers select bras, lingerie, sleepwear and other products Creating a welcoming, body-positive and judgment-free shopping expeience Listening carefully to customers and understanding their individual needs Providing knowledgable advice on fit, sizing, styles and fabrics Processing sales and operating our payment systems Receiving, unpacking and organizing merchandise Merchandising and maintaining attractive dispays Answering the phone and assisting with customer inquiries Taking customer orders and following up as needed Assisting with general day-to-day duties involved in running a small independant retial business *What we require:* Previous experience in lingerie, clothing sales and/or professional bra fitting Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong listening skills and the ability to make customers feel comforatable and respected Confidence working with a diverse range of body types, sizes and gender identities Good organizational skills and attention to detail The abilty to work independently while also being a supportive team memeber Experience with point-of-sale sysytems and general retail procedures A willingness to learn and keep up with our products, brands, and fitting techniques *Most importantly, we are looking for someone who understands that lingerie shopping can feel vunerable for some customers. *A little kindness, humor, patience and compassion can make all the difference. *What we offer:* We are a small, close-knit team where everyone contributes to creating the welcoming atmosphere our customers have come to know and love.
