*Job Title:* Pharmacy Assistant *Location:* The Compounding Pharmacy of Manitoba *Job Type:* Full-time *Department:* Pharmacy *Reports to:* Lead Pharmacist / Pharmacy Manager *Job Overview:* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at The Compounding Pharmacy of Manitoba. As a pharmacy assistant you will support the compounding and shipping teams to ensure smooth daily operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, dependable, and looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional pharmacy environment. *Responsibilities:* * Assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in the preparation of compounded medications. * Measure, mix, and package medications according to established formulas and protocols. * Maintain accurate records of all compounded prescriptions and formulations. * Ensure proper handling, labeling, packaging and storage of compounded medications. * Maintain inventory in relation to compounding and shipping as necessary. * Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), regulatory guidelines and safety protocols at all times. * Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace. * Communicate effectively with pharmacists, staff, healthcare providers, and patients. * Ensure the delivery of medications are packaged appropriately and accurately with efficiency. * Perform other duties as assigned to support pharmacy operations as necessary. *Requirements:* * High school diploma or equivalent; Pharmacy Assistant or Technician certification is preferred. * Previous experience in pharmaceutical compounding or pharmacy settings is considered an asset. * Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions. * Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team. * Strong communication skills and customer service orientation. * Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks in a busy environment. * Familiarity with Kroll pharmacy software and technology is an advantage. * A passion for providing high-quality, personalized healthcare solutions. * Full time hours preferred.
