Equipment World Inc. is seeking a dedicated HR Professional to join our TEAM Learn and grow with us! In conjunction with management team: * Oversee personnel management, including employee files and disciplinary actions in compliance with company policies. * Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide performance feedback. * Assist with staffing requirements by completing the recruitment process * Manage and track training programs based on regulatory requirements and best practices, including management of apprentice sponsorship. * Manage and upkeep contractor compliance and related portals * Lead JHSC and conduct workplace inspections and investigations with any H&S incidents * Manage all WSIB claims and related concerns * Promote and ensure employees adhere to all health and safety regulations, including company policies. * Promote and ensure all employees comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. * Handle employee complaints and incidents, including conflict resolution, accidents, health and safety concerns, work refusals, and investigations. * Manage safety data program * Ensure employee guidelines are in compliance with MOL and Human Rights * Promote a Healthy, happy work life by assisting with corporate events and building the team The ideal candidate will possess: - Education in HR Management - Experience working in an HR or related field -Strong ability to work independently -Knowledge of Employment Standards and OHSA -Proficiency in Microsoft Suite -JHSC certification is preferred *Equipment World Inc. is a Northern Ontario company with branches in Thunder Bay, Sudbury & Sault Ste Marie.
