*Overview* We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Automotive Service Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage a team of technicians, and ensure that all automotive repairs and services meet our high standards of quality. Your ability to upsell services and foster a positive relationship with customers will be key to driving the success of our dealership. *Responsibilities* * Supervise and manage the service department staff, including mechanics and service advisors. * Ensure efficient workflow in the repair shop while maintaining high-quality standards. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly. * Conduct regular training sessions for staff on automotive repair techniques and customer service best practices. * Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies, placing orders as necessary. * Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Develop strategies to increase sales through upselling additional services and products. * Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services performed, and customer interactions. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the dealership. *Requirements* * Proven experience as an Automotive Service Manager or in a similar role within a dealership setting. * Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. * Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial transactions. * Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction. * Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team of technicians. * Knowledge of automotive industry trends and best practices is preferred. * High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus. * PBS Knowledge an asset Join our team and take your career to the next level as an Automotive Service Manager!
