We are proud to be a reliable supplier to dealers, general contractors and manufacturing companies located all over North America. *We Are Looking For:* We are looking for an experienced _*Material Handler*_ to join our dedicated team on the day shift (Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm). This role will work out of our 87,000 sq. ft. facility located in Puslinch, ON. _Please note our facility is not accessible by bus._ *Primary Responsibilities:* * Responsible for distributing material to end use locations throughout the factory. * Responsible for safe forklift operation. * Uses forklift or manual means to move bins of material from machine shop to weld areas. * Manually loads materials onto shelves and bins in welding areas. * May occasionally operate overhead crane. * May operate manual or semi-automatic machines, and assist in other metal processing / machine shop department duties as required. * Will work outdoors as required (occasionally), in all weather conditions. * Will entail manual movement, up to 50 lbs. * General duties as required. * Maintain a safe and clean work area as well as work as efficiently as possible * Work in a safe manner in accordance to legislation and Company policies. This includes working in required PPE (Steel toed boots, hearing protection, safety glasses) *Qualifications:* * Must have previous working experience operating a forklift * Previous experience using an overhead crane considered a strong asset * Previous experience working in a manufacturing/machine shop environment considered a strong asset * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs * Ability to occasionally work outdoors, in all weather conditions * Capable of standing for extended periods of time * Possess a positive attitude and work well in a team oriented environment * Ability to work in fast-paced environment, continually adapting to change and work under pressure *What We Offer:* * Competitive pay and benefits * Work boot reimbursement * Work life balance * Steady shift and work * Safe and clean work environment * Weekly pay by direct deposit We thank all applicants for their interest in joining the Pentalift team.
