Located in the heart of Vancouver Island, the ACRD encompasses the municipalities of Port Alberni, Tofino, and Ucluelet, four Treaty Nations, and six electoral areas. This diverse region is home to some of the West Coast's most spectacular natural landscapes and vibrant communities.Reporting directly to the General Manager of Planning and Development, the Planning Manager plays a key leadership role within the Planning and Development Department. This position provides strategic direction and oversight for a broad range of complex planning initiatives while leading and mentoring a team of planning professionals.
