car wash manager

We are looking for a reliable, mechanically inclined, and organized individual to take responsibility for the maintenance, and day-to-day operational support of our car wash. This is a hands-on position requiring someone who can identify problems, find solutions, and take ownership from start to finish. Some evening, weekend, or after-hours availability may occasionally be required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Equipment Maintenance & RepairDiagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair car wash equipment and systems including maintaining pumps, compressors, hoses, valves, vacuums, automatic doors, payment systems, and related equipment.Respond to equipment breakdowns and coordinate outside technicians when required. Preventative MaintenanceFollow and maintain a scheduled preventative maintenance program, regularly inspect equipment and identify potential problems before failures occur. Daily, weekly, monthly. Management & OperationsHelp oversee the day-to-day operation of the car wash including training, assisting employees and customers. Scheduling, customer account maintenance, preparing/taking weekly deposits to the bank. Inventory & Cost ControlMonitor and order store inventory items as required.Monitor and order maintenance parts, tools, chemicals, recommend repairs, improvements, or equipment when appropriate. General QualificationsStrong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, or water systems is an asset, comfortable using hand and power tools, ability to work independently and prioritize multiple issues. Must be English speaking, paid training provided, valid driver's licence required. Comfortable working with computers.
