A primary function of this role is to spool and cut wire and cable of various sizes and weights. *Responsibilities:* * Wrap, tie, and place material on reels * Sort and place materials on racks * Use and adjust machinery to measure lengths of wire to meet customer specifications * Feed and thread wire and cable through machinery * Complete pre-start safety inspection before using any machinery or equipment * Responsible for carrying out any other duties assigned by the Operations Manager. * Record count and length information on tags or boxes * Loading and unloading trucks *Skills and Qualifications:* * 1-3 years experience working in a warehouse environment * Forklift Experience * Perform basic mathematical calculations to complete assigned tasks * Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. * Wire Cutting experience is considered an asset *A few reasons why it?s great to work for us* * Competitive salary and bonus * Comprehensive medical and dental benefits * RRSP matching plan * Opportunities for growth and development *Benefits & Perks* We offer a competitive salary, plus a full set of benefits, including: * Flexible benefits program allowing you to choose from options that best fit you and your dependents? needs.
