Description: We're hiring a programming coordinator. This is a dynamic role that works closely with the executive director and communications director to develop, implement, and evaluate UR Pride's events and outward-facing operations. This will especially involve student engagement programming to support the on-campus 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Programming at UR Pride will have three primary facets: Education, Entertainment, and Outreach. This will be a hybrid role. Primary Responsibilities: 1. Developing engaging programming from concept to execution for UR Pride members and non-members from the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.2. Evaluating program effectiveness, participation, enjoyment, etc.3. Reaching out to community partners via email, text, social media, etc. to improve relations and develop programming that benefits both or all organization client/membership base.4. In coordination with the Executive Director and Communications Director, engaging and training a pool of volunteers to assist with various dynamic aspects of UR Pride operations.5. Maintaining a database of volunteers easily accessed by lead staff. Qualifications:Experience in program development at an academic institutionExperience in facilitating programmingBackground in marketing, community engagement, or similarFamiliarity with 2SLGBTQIA+ history, culture and modern concernsFamiliarity with trauma-informed practices and mutual aidDemonstrated understanding of intersectional anti-oppressive practices both professionally and interpersonallyDemonstrated willingness to think laterally and solve problems creativelyFamiliarity with a variety of online platforms and apps: Instagram, Google Drive, Trello, Doodle, etc.Lived experience as 2SLGBTQIA+ will be considered an assetLived experience as BIPOC and/ or Indigi-queer will be considered an assetLived, current experience as a U of R student will be considered an asset Location Regina , SK Work location On site Salary $ 25.00 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Part time Starts as soon as possible Source SaskJobs #1537778 Various locations Regina, SK
