*We are looking for an experienced gardener with a full G or G2 License and a minimum of 2 years experience with a residential garden maintenance company. Experience with pots is a requirement. A normal season begins the last week of March and finishes the second week in December. * *We are looking for a Horticulturalist who is passionate about gardening, and serious about a career in the industry. \*We do not perform lawn care services, snow removal, or hardscaping.* *Job Description:* To maintain and enhance client gardens using sound horticulture practices. The Lead Hand will be responsible for driving and will fill in as a Supervisor when needed. Previous experience in a leadership role is a requirement. We perform garden maintenance, four season decorative containers and plantings, perennial planting, garden renovations, and fine pruning. Experience with seasonal pots, garden renovation, planting and hedge pruning with a hedge trimmer is a requirement. *Preferred candidates will meet the following criteria:* * Report for work everyday on time and properly prepared with lunch, water, rain gear, secateurs, and work boots - We start at 7:00 am at the shop each day, but you may be asked to come in earlier on occasion for meetings or during extreme heat. * Ability to take instruction, and perform all assigned tasks in an efficient and effective manner.
