This position reports to the Captain.Cooke is a global seafood company with operations in North America, Europe, and South America. The Role:As a result of our robust growth, we are expanding our team of professionals. The key role of this position is to monitor and operate the vessel's mechanical equipment. Primary duties are (not limited to): Safe and economical operations of all machinery on the vessel;Proper maintenance of all machinery on the vessel;Performs troubleshooting, problem solving as well as preventative and corrective maintenance to prevent down time and to ensure the efficient and continual functioning of the vessel;Environmental managementMonitoring of bunkers and lubricants;Maintain accurate records and other duties as assigned.
