Server Duties: - Greet and seat customers in a friendly and welcoming manner - Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly - Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner - Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service throughout their dining experience - Answer customer questions about menu items and make recommendations - Upsell additional menu items and specials - Process payments and handle cash transactions - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery - Maintain cleanliness of dining area and workstations Skills: - Food preparation: Ability to assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as assembling salads or appetizers. - Cash handling: Proficiency in handling cash transactions, including giving change accurately. - Math: Strong math skills to calculate bills, split checks, and handle cash transactions. - Kitchen: Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food safety standards and basic cooking techniques. - Food service: Knowledge of proper serving techniques, including carrying trays, balancing plates, and serving etiquette. - POS (Point of Sale) systems: Experience using POS systems to enter orders, process payments, and generate receipts. - Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Customer service: Excellent interpersonal skills to provide friendly and attentive service to customers. - Guest services: Ability to anticipate customer needs and provide personalized service to enhance their dining experience. - Food handling: Knowledge of proper food handling procedures to ensure food safety.
