This position requires an Intermediate Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Your main responsibilities As an Intermediate Stormwater/Water Resources Engineer, you will take responsibility for portions of assessments, analysis, project design, coordination, and technical execution. You will work through all project phases, from conceptual level planning to detailed design, while collaborating with a diverse team of professionals. Lead and support the design of greenfield and retrofit stormwater management systems. Model existing and future systems using tools such as PCSWMM and HEC-RAS. Develop stormwater management planning documents at various detail levels. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers. Assist with project planning, scheduling, cost estimates, and client communications. What makes you unique Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline. Eligibility for registration with APEGA. P.Eng. certification is considered an asset. Minimum 5 years of experience in stormwater/water resources engineering. PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, and other related modelling software experience is considered an asset. Understanding of local regulatory requirements pertaining to stormwater. Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
