As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to perfection, adhering to food safety standards while delivering exceptional service to our guests. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. * Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines. * Assist in the planning and execution of daily menus, including special dietary needs. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. * Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours. * Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. * Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, specials, and operational improvements. *Experience* * Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred. * Knowledge of food handling, meal preparation, and cooking techniques is essential. * Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the restaurant industry. * Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
