Aurum Truck & Trailer Ltd. is seeking a full-time Journeyperson Trailer Heavy Duty Mechanic based in Edmonton, AB. Aurum Truck & Trailer is a newly constructed truck and trailer maintenance facility with a focus on TC406/407 tanker trailers. Aurum Truck & Trailer is a subsidiary of Chambers Transportation Group Ltd., which is proud to have been named one of Canada?s Best Managed Companies for the last 4 years. *About the Position:* * Trailer repair- PMs, electrical work, brakes, suspension & product pump rebuild. * Basic tools required for the position. * Diagnostic experience. * Boot and tool allowance * RRSP matching *Responsibilities:* * Professionally maintain equipment. * Follow policies & procedures. * Work safely, using directed PPE. * Complete tasks in a timely fashion as per the Standard Repair Time Guidelines. * Maintain fleet equipment. *Skills:* * Operation of hand tools. * Operation of air tools. * Strong and reliable work ethic. * Positive attitude & job performance. * Trailer Journeyperson certificate required. *Requirements:* * Valid Class 5 Driver License. * Journeyperson status required * May work above shoulder level with power and /or hand tools weighing 15 pounds or less and in confined spaces. * Must meet the physical requirements of the position and have mobility, vision, hearing, sense of smell, and dexterity levels appropriate to the duties performed. * May stand and walk on level and uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, bend and crawl, grasp, drag, lift, and carry items weighing 50 lbs. or less. * Must be willing and able to work at heights up to 15 feet. *Schedule:* * Day shift, 6:00am-5:30pm, Wednesday to Wednesday, 8 days on / 6 days off * Afternoon shift, 11:30am-10:00pm, Monday to Thursday, 8 days on / 6 days off *Wage:* * $41.62/hour *TO APPLY --> Please include your current resume and references.* #Aurum30 Pay: From $41.62 per hour Licence/Certification: * Journeyperson Trailer Mechanic (required) * Class 5 Driver License (required) Work Location: In person Location Edmonton , AB Work location On site Salary $ 41.62 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10235303087 Various locations Edmonton, AB
