*PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:* The Electromechanical technician will be responsible for performing general machinery and building maintenance. Coordinate the day-to-day operation of the maintenance department. Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site?s business goals and objectives *RESPONSIBILITIES:* * Update and adjust MPS as required based on customer changes/requests, machine breakdowns, inefficiencies, or inventory discrepancies * Diagnose and repair production and building equipment for the company * Coordinate and manage external expertise services (electromechanical subcontractors) * Request and order spare parts * Provide support for production and ensure the production line is always operational * Update task documentation * Perform preventive maintenance on machines * Manage the maintenance schedule * Comply with health and safety regulations (OHS) * Perform all other duties as assigned or needed. *JOB REQUIREMENTS* *Education Requirements* * College diploma in electromechanics (any combination of relevant education and training will be considered) *Technical Skills* * 5 years of experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance and equipment repair * Experience with CNC machine maintenance is an asset * Excellent proficiency in English, both spoken and written *Personal skills * * Strong attention to detail * Excellent teamwork skills * Ability to work under pressure * Organized and resourceful * Methodical * Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize *Now that you can see yourself in this role, apply and join the DCM team!* In this document, the masculine form is used solely to simplify the text.
