Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products. Professionalism in customer service. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Load and unload goods. Sort packages for delivery. Follow directions and read map. Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems. Provide customer service. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Flexibility. Team player. Dependability. Punctuality. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Do you have experience working in this field?.
