This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, friendly environment dedicated to improving smiles and confidence. *Duties* * Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly * Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including cleanings, fillings, crowns, orthodontics, and other dental treatments * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology when needed * Manage patient flow by welcoming patients, updating medical histories, and explaining procedures clearly to ensure comfort and understanding * Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic, including treatment notes and billing information * Provide post-treatment instructions and answer patient questions with professionalism and empathy * Support the dental reception area by scheduling appointments, confirming patient visits, and handling administrative tasks *Skills* * Proven experience in dental assisting with knowledge of dental procedures and infection control protocols * Familiarity with dental management software such as Dentrix or Epic for record keeping and appointment scheduling * Knowledge of orthodontics procedures and materials is highly desirable * Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatrics, ensuring they feel safe and informed * Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry for accurate documentation * Experience assisting with pediatric dentistry or orthodontic cases is a plus * Join us to make a real difference in patients? lives while advancing your career in a supportive, energetic environment!
