Contor Building Systems Inc. is a steel fabricator and custom solutions provider located in Port Robinson, Ontario. *Job Type: *Contract (3-Month, renewable) *Salary:* $24-28/hr *Experience:* 1-2 Years, CWB certification not required, but considered an asset. We are currently looking for a qualified Welder to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and assisting in assembling pre-fabricated steel buildings, modifying and reinforcing shipping containers for re-purposed use, and fitting and installing light gauge steel panelling. This position will start out on a 3-month contract, and will be renewable at the end of each term. If the candidate is deemed to be a good fit for our team, we would offer permanent employment, including benefits. You will report directly to the Production Manager. Duties and Responsibilities: · Ability to work with a team, and be willing to train others · Read and interpret engineering designs and blueprints · Read and understand standard welding symbols · Torch/Plasma cut various materials · Operate a lift truck as required · Cutting and de-burring of material for fabrication and fitting · Work material ranging from 1/16? to 1/2" · Perform work in accordance with company safety and quality policy Qualifications: · 1-2 years of welding experience · CWB certified welder, holding tickets for GMAW/FCAW considered an asset · Knowledge of metallurgy considered an asset Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour Benefits: * On-site parking * Paid time off Flexible language requirement: * French not required Work Location: In person Location Allanburg , ON Work location On site Salary $ 24.00 to $ 28.00 HOUR hourly Terms of employment Term or contract Full time Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Source indeed.com #10235051668 Various locations Allanburg, ON
