Immediate start dates available. * This position is for work based in Regina that requires travel to various locations* The Opportunity: The purpose of the Equipment Operator position is to assist in the construction of rural long haul fibre optic and urban FTTP - Fibre to the Premise networks. This position works outdoors in a variety of environments and weather conditions. What You Will be Doing: Working as a part of a team to install fibre optic cable and conduitWorking with direction drill and cable plow crews.Equipment operation: Cable plow, dozer, backhoe, directional drill, skidsteer, mini-ex etc.Landscape repair and remediation Ability to perform routine maintenance work as required is an asset Other duties as required.
