In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent vehicle standards. Experience with quad trailers is an asset. *Duties* * Safely operate heavy-duty trucks to transport goods to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations * Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance and safety standards * Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery schedules to ensure seamless operations * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse teams to coordinate pickups and deliveries * Follow all safety protocols during driving, loading, unloading, and while on site to prevent accidents or injuries * Assist with securing cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit *Experience* * Proven experience as a professional truck driver with a valid commercial driver?s license (CDL) * Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various environments * Strong driving skills with a clean driving record and familiarity with different types of trucks and routes * Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards applicable to commercial driving * Ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting * Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients * Physical stamina for long hours on the road and handling physically demanding tasks Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills fuel your success!
