We serve customers throughout the power generation, mining, oil & gas, and industrial sectors, building our reputation on quality workmanship, precision, and reliability. We operate from a modern *40,000 sq. ft. facility in Saskatoon*, giving our team the opportunity to work on a wide range of equipment and increasingly large and complex machining projects. We are currently looking for an *Apprentice Machinist* who wants to develop their skills, work toward their Journeyperson certification, and build a long-term career in the machining trade. What You'll Do Working under the guidance of experienced machinists and supervisors, you will: * Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools as your skills and experience develop. * Learn to manufacture and repair precision components to drawing and specification requirements. * Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and machining instructions. * Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other inspection tools. * Assist with machine setups, tooling selection, feeds, speeds, and machining processes. * Inspect work throughout the machining process to ensure dimensional accuracy. * Maintain inspection records and documentation when required. * Assist with repair and refurbishment of industrial components and equipment. * Maintain machines, tooling, and work areas. * Follow company quality procedures and safe work practices. * Work alongside experienced tradespeople on unique and challenging machining projects. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the shop. What We're Looking For We are interested in candidates at various stages of their machining apprenticeship. Preference will be given to candidates who: * Are currently registered as a *1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Year Machinist Apprentice*, or have relevant machining education or experience and are interested in entering the apprenticeship program. * Have some experience with manual and/or CNC machining. * Have the ability to read or are interested in developing the ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints. * Have a mechanical aptitude and enjoy hands-on work. * Are comfortable using precision measuring equipment or are willing to learn. * Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. * Are dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn. * Can work effectively as part of a team while developing the ability to work independently. * Have a valid driver's licence. *Previous machining experience is an asset, but we encourage apprentices at all levels to apply.* What We Offer *Competitive Pay ? $21.00?$35.00 per hour*, based on apprenticeship level, experience, and demonstrated ability.
