As a Sales Consultant you will be ensuring customers have the best experience at O'Neill Nissan. Your goal will be to provide an exceptional customer experience and drive sales revenue. *Responsibilities:* * Approaching, greeting and offering assistance or direction to any potential pr current client who enters the dealership showroom or lot * Assist clients in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses and building a strong rapport * Assist with test drives and facilitate the delivery of vehicles while focusing on added value features, options, accessories and lifestyle * Explain product performance, application and benefits to prospective clients * Describe optional equipment/accessories for client purchase * Perform excellent, professional and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of new vehicles * Report to Sales Management regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews and analysis * Complete all OEM required online and in person training courses as needed * Prospecting through outbound telephone calls and correspondence * Following up with former and current dealership customers who have visited the dealership or taken test drives * Other duties as assigned *Qualifications:* * Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team * Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets * Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies * Dealership experience is considered an asset * Strong negotiation skills * Skills for Social media content is considered an asset Candidates are required to produce a criminal record check and clean drivers abstract.
