Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: French essential and spoken EnglishNOTE : Applicants must attach a resume to their application.JOB SUMMARY:Under the supervision of the department manager or delegate, the incumbent will carry out technical tasks for the department and assist the Speech Language Pathologists and audiologist in providing clinical treatments to patients with needs. Occasionnally, they may be assigned tasks related to other disciplines of Rehabilitation.REQUIREMENTS: High School graduation or equivalent and an additional Rehabilitation Techniques Program/ Course of over one year and up to two years;Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certificate;Recent experience in direct patient care;Basic computer skills;Good communication skills (verbal and written);Initiative, good judgment and organisational skills;Effective time managementandcustomer care skills;Ability to work independently and as a team member;Physical ability to perform assigned duties;Good previous work history (performance and attendance);Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.The above requirements may be verified through oral, written or practical tests during the selection process.Should there be no fully qualified applicants, this position will not necessarily be reposted.
