Reporting to the Substation Operations Supervisor, you will lead a team of professionals at our mentioned locations. Key elements of this role include:As a member of the Substation Maintenance team,You must have a strong working knowledge of the purpose and operation of all electrical/electronic equipment related to substations, including PLC's, solid state relaying, remote SCADA telemetry and all associated protection equipment. You must also have a strong electrical and mechanical working knowledge of substation transformers, breakers, reclosers, switches, and various other substation equipment. You will direct and perform all aspects of installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of electrical/electronic substation equipment on the Transmission/Distribution System (e.g. reclosers, breakers, transformers, controls, protective relays, telecommunication).You will be required to assist with the operation of the NSP electrical transmission system related to switching and isolation of transmission lines for maintenance or other operational requirements.
