*Role Description:* We?re looking for *skilled, reliable, and professional painters* with *3?5+ years of full time experience* in the painting trade. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and can work independently or as part of a crew on *residential, commercial, and institutional projects*. If you?re someone who knows their way around a brush and roller, prepares surfaces properly, and understands the importance of a clean, safe, and respectful jobsite, then we want to hear from you! * *A valid BC driver?s license and access to a reliable vehicle is strongly preferred.* * *https://finitopaint.ca/painter* *Responsibilities:* * Execute high quality interior and exterior painting using brush and roll techniques. * Prepare surfaces using appropriate methods: sanding, filling, caulking, pressure washing, or chemical prep (e.g., wood conditioners.) * Work safely and efficiently with or without supervision. * Maintain clean and organized job sites and equipment. * Interact respectfully with clients, teammates, and site supervisors. * Assist in setup and cleanup of job sites. * Follow safety protocols and company standards. *Skills and Qualifications:* * *3?5+ years of full time, year round hands on painting experience* (residential, commercial, or institutional.) * Strong brush and roll skills with attention to detail and clean lines without ridges or trails. * Surface prep knowledge: patching, sanding, caulking, and cleaning. * Familiarity with various coatings, primers, and finishing products. * Comfortable working at heights and on ladders. * Solid understanding of jobsite etiquette and client communication. * Able to work independently with minimal supervision, or as part of a team. * Reliable transportation and punctuality. * Able and willing to safely lift and maneuver material or equipment weighing 50lbs or more. * Ability to operate and maintain airless sprayers or HVLP?s is an asset but not required. * A current respirator fit test, certifications for elevated platforms, or WHMIS is also an asset but not required.
