*Position Overview* We are seeking a dependable, hands-on *Warehouse Associate* to support the day-to-day operations of our garage door company. This role is responsible for preparing, organizing, painting, loading, and dispatching garage doors and related materials to ensure our installation and service teams have everything they need to complete jobs efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate is organized, physically capable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and productive warehouse. *Key Responsibilities* * Dispatch garage doors, hardware, and materials for scheduled installation and service jobs. * Prepare garage doors and components for installation, including measuring, cutting, labeling, and general prep work. * Perform painting and finishing work on garage doors and components as required. * Load and unload garage doors, materials, and equipment safely. * Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and properly stocked. * Ensure doors and materials are correctly labeled and assigned to the appropriate jobs. * Inspect materials for damage, defects, or missing components before dispatch. * Receive and organize incoming inventory and deliveries. * Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate stock levels. * Prepare tools, hardware, and job materials for installation crews. * Help maintain warehouse equipment, work areas, and painting/preparation areas. * Follow company safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment. * Assist with other warehouse, shop, and general duties as required. *Qualifications & Skills* * Previous warehouse, construction, garage door, or hands-on trade experience is an asset. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting and moving garage doors and materials. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Willingness to learn new skills and procedures. * Reliable, punctual, and dependable. * Valid driver's license is an asset. * Ability to safely operate basic hand and power tools is an asset. * Painting or finishing experience is an asset. *What We?re Looking For* We are looking for someone who *takes initiative, works hard, stays organized, and takes pride in doing the job right*. This is an active role with a variety of responsibilities, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to be an important part of a growing garage door operation. *Working Conditions* * Full-time, hands-on warehouse/shop environment. * Regular lifting, carrying, and movement of materials. * Work may involve dust, paint, tools, and varying temperatures. * Safety equipment and procedures must be followed at all times.
