DeFord Contracting Inc. offers top wages based on experience, a comprehensive benefits package (extended healthcare, dental care, vision care, life insurance, employee assistance program, etc.), company events (including holiday parties and summer BBQ?s), and a team-oriented environment, all within a very supportive and positive working environment. *Responsibilities:* * Safely and efficiently operate paving equipment on a variety of projects. * Monitor paver operation to ensure consistent quality, depth, and alignment. * Work closely with the paving crew, ensuring smooth and efficient project execution. * Perform daily equipment inspections, routine maintenance, and report any mechanical issues. * Follow project specifications and quality standards. * Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to company safety policies and procedures. * Assist with other tasks on the paving crew as needed to support project progress. *Qualifications:* * Minimum 2?3 years of experience operating a paver * Strong understanding of paving techniques, procedures, and safety requirements. * Ability to read and follow plans, grades, and project specifications. * MUST possess a valid Class 5 driver?s license; _Class 3 considered an asset_ _DeFord Contracting Inc. is committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment, where all of our employees and customers feel valued, respected, and supported.
