This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to life-saving care while advancing your professional skills. *Responsibilities* * Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images of the heart and related anatomy for diagnostic purposes * Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the exam * Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and assist in diagnosis * Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, findings, and patient information in compliance with hospital policies and medical regulations * Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated, cleaned, and maintained to uphold safety standards * Adhere to infection control protocols and patient privacy regulations at all times * Stay current with technological advancements and best practices in cardiac imaging to continually improve skills and service quality *Qualifications* * Proven experience as a Cardiac Sonographer or similar role with proficiency in echocardiography techniques * Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to cardiac anatomy and physiology * Certification from a recognized credentialing body such as the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent is preferred * Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail * Commitment to patient care, safety, and confidentiality Join us in making a difference through innovative cardiac imaging!
