What youll accomplish: -Financial Reporting & Analysiso Manage and oversee the consolidated month-end and year-end financial close processeso Prepare and report accurate financial statements and ensure compliance with standardso Develop and deliver analyses supporting the variances to budget and prior periodso Anticipate future trends, identify risks and opportunities, and proactively plan and/or implement mitigation strategieso Review and evaluate cost reduction opportunitieso Provide analytical insights and recommendations to support senior leadership decision-makingo Maintain accounting policies and procedures and adhere to controls to safeguard company assets and reduce risko Manage financial performance, monitor project and operational budgets, analyze variances and forecast future needs-Manage external audits and assist in addressing audit inquiries-Team Leadershipo Lead and mentor accounting teamo Champion accountability for data quality, forecasting and budgeting-Identify and support opportunities for continuous improvement such as eliminating repetitive tasks and improving financial workflows through technology-Fulfill all aspects of the Cigar Lake Administration Manager role, including:o Consolidate and distribute financial information, coordinate JV partner correspondence and manage budget fileso Coordinate and support JV governance activities, including preparing and presenting materials and leading Audit Committee meetings Qualifications and skills:-Accounting Degree and CPA designation, with 10+ years relevant experience-Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAP is an asset Work Location & Travel:-Saskatoon Corporate Office-Occasional short trips to the various project sites as required Location Saskatoon , SK Work location On site Salary $ 148,900 to $ 175,150 YEAR annually Terms of employment Full time Starts as soon as possible Source SaskJobs #1537248 Various locations Saskatoon, SK
