*Job Overview* Starks Plumbing & Heating Ltd. is seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our Civil Division. This is a versatile position for someone who is comfortable operating hydrovac, Tandem, Water Truck and End dumps. The successful candidate must be willing to work as part of a team and help wherever needed to keep projects moving forward safely and efficiently. *Responsibilities* * Safely operate and maintain a hydrovac truck * Perform daylighting, trenching, utility exposure and excavation work * Drive tandem or gravel trucks as required * Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections * Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of trucks and equipment * Assist with shovelling, site cleanup and general labour duties * Support underground utility and civil construction crew * Complete required daily paperwork and equipment inspections * Follow company safety policies and site-specific procedures * Maintain a clean and professional work area * Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers and customers *Qualifications* * Valid Class 1 driver?s license with a clean driver?s abstract * Previous hydrovac operating experience is a must * Experience driving gravel or dump trucks is considered an asset * Ability to safely operate around underground utilities * Physically capable of performing labour-intensive work, including lifting, shovelling * Strong mechanical aptitude is considered an asset * Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions * Ability to work independently and as part of a crew * Dependable, punctual and safety-minded *What We Offer* * Competitive wages based on experience * Benefits/RRSP matching * Well-maintained equipment * A positive, team-oriented work environment * Opportunities to grow within the company Applicants must understand that this is not strictly an equipment-operating position.
