Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinist technology/CNC machinist. Tasks: Prepare and submit reports. Recommend measures to improve productivity . Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Establish work schedules. Train or arrange for training. Oversee safety of operations. Set up machines and equipment. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers.
